We support traditional activities provided by locals that contribute to the economy, we love to promote traditional lappish and indigenous Sámi culture. We offer our guests opportunities for cultural shows and interactions with Indigenous Sámi people and reindeer herders in the region. By engaging with these activities, we not only benefit the community but also help preserve their way of life.

Our partnership with the University of Lapland, which began in 2019, is focused on creating services that educate tourists on the effects of climate change on the Arctic environment, as well as the local cultures and wildlife. By collaborating with the university, we aim to develop innovative approaches that help visitors appreciate the fragility of this unique ecosystem and the importance of preserving it for future generations.

All our tours are highly customized according to our customers’ desires. Sustainability is ingrained in our tours and operations as we deeply value nature and aim to provide authentic experiences. Sustainability for us entails concrete actions, such as:

• Minimizing environmental impact in every possible way. For instance, we utilize electronic snowmobiles when feasible and offset carbon emissions by maintaining a large area of natural forest, which functions as a carbon sink. Currently, we are carbon negative.
• Ensuring ultimate security by entrusting our programs to highly skilled guides who are equipped with appropriate safety plans. All our guides undergo emergency training, enabling them to respond effectively in Arctic conditions.
• Prioritizing the well-being of our staff by investing in their training and orientation.
• Supporting local culture and lifestyle through robust stakeholder relations. We collaborate, for example, with local reindeer and husky farms.
• We continuously refine our sustainability processes and are eager to share more with our customers and stakeholders.
