At the top of the Paljasselkä fell in Enontekiö, Hetta (Lapland), this newly transformed private wilderness retreat stands on the site of a former Finnish Defence Forces radar station. Today, it has been reimagined as an exotic and stunning hideaway for those seeking complete privacy and serenity in the Arctic. This location has a remarkable history and is framed by some of the region’s most captivating views.

uNTOUCHED TERRITORY

Set amid the vast fell landscapes of the Arctic tundra, in the heart of a traditional Sámi reindeer herding area, the retreat sits in a location unlike any other.

No tourist has ever had access to this private territory — until now. With nothing but open wilderness in every direction, it remains one of the Arctic’s most untouched and culturally significant areas.

The Northern Lights are at their strongest here, which is why we call this extraordinary site the Aurora Radar Station.

The property consists of five apartments, four of which are for the guests usage and fifth apartment is for the staff and dining. In four apartments we have total 10 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms with showers. There is also a separate Sauna department with a lounge and an outdoor- jacuzzi.

This combination of secluded luxury and easy yet discreet access ensures an unparalleled stay.
