The beauty of the location of this property is its location in the middle of a natural reserve, while being still extremely close to the capital city Oslo.

The unique ecosystem of Nordre Øyeren’s natural reserve is formed by two of Norway’s largest rivers meeting, creating a home to more fish and bird species than almost anywhere else in the country.

The layout of the house

Both cabins are compact in space, but the Scandinavian minimalistic skills have ensured that both cabins are smartly furnished, utilizing every centimeter available, yet still making it feel spacious.

The main cabin comes with a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, and bathroom with shower.
The second cabin also comes with a double bed, and a lounge area in front of it.

The property’s garden is wide and large, and you will find a grill, outside dining set, an open fire pit, and a lovely hot tub.

Location

While the cabins are on the edge of the Nordre Øyeren nature reserve, it is also just a 25 minute drive to Oslo which makes it extremely easy to plan one or several daytrips into the city. The nearest town for any convenience stores is Smestad, which is just 5 minutes driving from the property.

To truly take in the beautiful nature surrounding, you can take an afternoon boat trip of four hours aboard the MS Øyern.
